Meet Our Veterinary Team

Veterinarian

Dr. Ghitea graduated from the University of California, Riverside, in 1995 and then from Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine in 2001. He purchased the clinic in 2006. Arthur, his wife, daughter, and son share their home with a Bengal named Romeo. In his free time, he enjoys reading and riding his motorcycle.

Veterinarian

Dr. Hughson attributes her interest in veterinary medicine to growing up on a pig farm in NE Iowa. She attended Iowa State for an undergraduate degree in Animal Science and then moved to Massachusetts to receive her veterinary education at Tufts School of Veterinary Medicine. She moved to Oregon in 2006, worked at a mixed animal practice for two years and now concentrates on small animal medicine. She and her husband Michael have three energetic boys together. When not busy with work or engaged in family time, Dr. Hughson enjoys hiking, reading, baking, and photography.

Veterinary Technician

Natalia is a client favorite here at Tualatin animal Clinic for her enthusiasm and kindness towards animals. Natalia has 20 years experience in the veterinary field. In her free time, Natalia enjoys hiking, figure skating, and baking. Natalia, her husband, and their two children have two cats, Waffles and Theodore.

Anastasia comes from right here in Oregon. While working here at Tualatin animal clinic, Anastasia is also studying at PCC to become a certified veterinary technician. Anastasia and her wife Raia have 3 cats and a golden retriever/cocker mix.

Veterinary Assistant

Noah has always aspired to work in veterinary medicine, a passion evident since he began job shadowing at Tualatin Animal Clinic in the 6th grade. Now a graduate of Oregon State University with the goal of becoming a veterinarian, Noah works part-time as a veterinary assistant. At home, he enjoys the company of his two cats, Penny and Luna.

Assistant Manager

Courtney grew up in Thailand and has traveled all over the world. She came to us with more than 15 years of experience working with animals. She has worked as a veterinary technician, worked with a wild animal rescue, and managed a small farm. In her spare time, she enjoys travel, scuba diving, and spending time with her two kids.

Manager and Lead Technician

Randy is originally from southern Oregon. She attended Pima medical institute and comes to Tualatin Animal Clinic with over 20 years of veterinary experience. Randy enjoys spending her free time in the outdoors, beach, and rivers, snowboarding, and spending time with her family.

CSR

Joslyn is originally from Michigan but was raised right here in Portland, Oregon. Joslyn has just started her career in veterinary medicine but has a long history in animal care from having always owned a pet, working as a pet sitter from a young age and working at a pet boarding facility. In her free time, Joslyn enjoys cooking, baking, and taking care of pets.

CSR

Amanda comes to Tualatin Animal Clinic from Southern California. Amanda has 5 years of veterinary experience in both ER and specialty clinics but prefers the general practice environment where she can get to know both the pets and their owners. Amanda shares her home with her 2 cats: Naku, who is 19 years old, and her newest addition Olive, a 2-year-old rescue.
